Attention seeking requires lead light repair

Attention seeking requires lead light repair since after all what better way than to use a thrown shoe? End of term required some celebration at Emmanuel College in Cambridge. Finding yourself locked out of your room in the University halls means you need the help of a fellow undergraduate. What better way to attract their attention than to throw a shoe at their window?

I have repaired many leaded windows at Emmanuel College in the past and this is a simple repair. The lead came could be straightened and matching glass used to bring the window back into service. It is unusual for attention seeking to be the source of the lead light repair – usually the problem steams from wind catching the window instead of a show. Despite the evidence the thrower is not a cricketer.

Leaded light cement stabilises and seals everything to ensure that there will be no draughts or water ingress – all our sealant comes from Hodgsons – leading supplier of sealants.
