There was a shock in store on site when I found that the window frame I had measured to fit the window had been completely stripped out with just a hole remaining. As a result my carpentry skills were employed and with a quick trip to the local building merchant for wooden beading a new frame was mitred up and fitted in short order. The feature window is now installed and throwing all sorts of subtle light shades into the hallway.

The mix of lightly obscured glass types gives goo dlight flow and also offers a high degree of privacy which you want with a porch.

Saffron Walden is  a picturesque, medieval town, in north west Essex. It has a rich heritage of old buildings reflecting its wealth as a rural market town. Further details on visiting can be found here
